Halving Bitcoin is here
Tomorrow 12/05/2020 the third bitcoin halving will take place, where the block reward will be reduced to 6.25 BTC. The halving occurs every 4 years, reducing the reward per block to half.
Bitcoin was born with 50 BTC of reward per block being reduced to 25 BTC in its first halving, then to 12.5 BTC in its second halving and in this one it will be reduced to 6.25 BTC. The price of BTC in these periods is very volatile, over the weekend we reached $10000 and this Monday we woke up with a fall to $8257.
What will happen tomorrow?
Will it increase in value in the future as it becomes harder to get?
